ORIGINAL FNB is a new clothing brand offering fashion styles with the ultimate comfort characteristics and all the eco credentials you could wish for. We strongly believe in the environment and, in our opinion, the most ecological thing you can do is to produce a garment that people want to wear again and again: the opposite of disposable 'fast fashion'. Having said this, it doesn’t matter how eco a product is, if it’s ugly then you won’t wear it, so it’s the styling, cut and latest looks that have to come first! FNB Sweat

Our FNB Unisex Sweat gives a feel and fit that ‘ticks’ every box. The luxurious external hand-feel, along with the super soft brushed comfort, ensure the optimum wearing experience. The blend of 80% organic ring-spun cotton along with 20% recycled polyester give this Sweat the comfort feel you want combined with excellent durability.

FNB Hoody

The FNB Unisex Hood has all the looks and features that you’d typically seek in a high-end retail garment, yet it’s been designed for imprint. The FNB Hood shares the same fabric as the FNB Sweat, having the same super soft feel combined with the brushed inner side making it a Hood you’ll not want to take off! The blend of 80% organic ring-spun cotton, along with 20% recycled polyester, give this Hood a snuggly feel whilst still offering excellent durability.

Ready To Dye

Ready To Dye (RTD) is a garment that’s been specially formulated and constructed ready to accept ‘local’ dyeing. It’s pre-shrunk where applicable and / or has additional fabric to allow for the dying process not effecting the finished garment size (e.g. a size M will end up a size M even after the dying process). RTD has the look of a natural ‘ecru’ colour and doesn’t have any of the manufacturing softeners within the fabric, as these may detract from ultimate dye acceptance, (these softeners to give an enhanced hand-feel can be added whilst dying). The RTD colour is softer than a bright white and is also suitable to wear just as it is should you choose to!

The team at FNB have a wealth of knowledge in each process involved, starting from garment designing and manufacturing, right through to printing and clothing distribution. We’ve responsibly manufactured high quality, expertly styled garments supplying decorators, independent fashion brands in the retail sector, and music merchandise companies for over 20 years. We continue to innovate by developing new fabrics and techniques to give an enhanced wearer experience whilst striving to lower the ecological impact of clothing manufacture.

FNB Tees

Through our extensive research we have arrived at the perfect fitting T shirt which will allow you to move comfortably and never feel restricted. We have added generous allowances to the chest, armhole and body length, to achieve the ultimate fit. Yarns have been carefully selected to have the best foundation for the fabric and added enhanced finishing techniques in the fabric dyeing stages result in a silky hand feel.

FNB Sweat and FNB Hood Styles

Both these styles offer an athletic cut combined with a clean look and the versatile fabric ensures these garments offer the ultimate in comfort. Our unique combination of cotton and polyester yarns helps to retain heat to keep the body warm and achieve a silky soft hand feel on the top surface.Innovative brushing techniques have enabled us to achieve a luxurious cushioned feel, whilst preventing fibre migration to your inner layers. Ultra durable seams and sewing construction guarantee years of wear and tear. Both styles also have inner half-moon yolks to enable own branding to be added if desired. The FNB Hood features a double thick tubular draw cord with quality metal covered ends and matching eyelets (NB: RTD has different cord finishing to withstand industrial dying processes) .

Ultimate Printability

All ORIGINAL FNB garments are designed to be printed and offer the ultimate print surface imaginable, irrespective of decoration method. As we come from an imprint background all aspects are considered from low fibrillation, offering the ultimate DTG smooth surface technology, to ensuring maximum performance if choosing to print using reactive dyes (discharge). Our super smooth fabric surfaces help to reduce hand-feel and can even reduce pre-treatments and ink usage due to the quality of our fabric construction. Our fabrics are made in a certified facility so are suitable for printing processes with a low environmental impact, phthalate free, non-PVC, water-based, compliant with any environmental and organic standards.

Ethical Sourcing

Our sourcing model is focused on ensuring that our manufacturing partners ensure good working standards to workers and to provide a sustainable business model. We also ensure that the factories we work with pay fair wages over and above minimum wage requirements and do not exceed legal hours of work. These factories are also not subject to any discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, age or disability.

Sustainable Manufacturing

90% of clothing consumed in the Europe is imported, therefore we work across our clothing supply chain to encourage environmental and ethical improvements wherever possible. We believe this is essential to improve the international clothing supply chains thus increasing the sustainability of the clothing we wear. For many new discoveries and partnerships, we had to willingly give up on some old ideas that made sense to shift away from and to then embrace a better, smarter, faster and ultimately a more sustainable future. At FNB we are emphasising the need for sustainability along with environmental and social responsibilities in the lucrative fashion imprint industry. Our intent is to produce sustainable fashion styles to protect the planet and its inhabitants.

We encourage sustainable practices in Design, Product Development, Raw materials, Supply Chain and Production Practices with all our manufacturing partners.Through our innovative product design we emphasise on enforcing sustainability practices in the manufacturing process. We focus on using sustainable raw materials in our garments since the fabric element represents approximately 60% of the total garment cost.

In partnership with our manufacturing partners we focus on operations where we can jointly eliminate waste, increase efficiency and reduce operational costs to drive the production facilities towards sustainable production.

Yarns and Fabrics

Through our 20 years of sourcing experience we understand that the specific source of the fibre and the technology levels of the spinners play a vital role in the yarn quality which lead to the ultimate fabric quality which is the substance for FNB garments. Therefore we ensure that the yarns that the factories are using are always sourced from one of our nominated and approved spinning mills.

All our manufacturing units are fully vertical composite units. This ensures the knitting, dyeing and garment making, is done under one facility to ensure highest level of quality standards are achieved. All our organic fabric production is done with approved eco chemicals and all processes are certified under OekoTex 100 class 1 standard.

Dyeing is recognised as being a high impact process that consumes large quantities of water, energy and chemicals, and the dyeing industry is known to be one of the major global polluters. Therefore, we strive to ensure that our fabrics are dyed in zero-discharge dyeing facilities and that all waste water is recycled in state-of-the-art biodegradable water effluent plants.

We can offer exceptionally high-quality products with a fast turnaround, and an unrivalled attention to detail along with a truly personal service. From Retail products in sustainable fabrics, to imprint products designed to meet a specific price points, we can usually help. We have a vast knowledge within this sector and work alongside our customers to ensure the experience is positive at all stages and you end up with the exact product that was envisaged at the outset. Minimum Orders

The minimum production run varies depending on the type of fabric/s and the mix of products required. Rather than quoting a set of criteria, that may not be appropriate to your exact requirements, we prefer to answer case by case to ensure we meet your expectations wherever possible.

Sampling Costs

There is a charge for preparing and sending prototype/s which will be quoted in advance and are set at a level to cover any costs.

Additional services

Screen and Sublimation printing at source - 'Panel printing' before garment assembly is preferred but all types of screen printing techniques are available
